About Guruji
Guruji is revered by his Sangat as the “light divine.” Born on 7 July 1952 in Dugri village near Malerkotla, Punjab, he later held satsangs in places including Jalandhar, Chandigarh, Panchkula and New Delhi.
His doors were open to everyone, regardless of background or faith. Sangat remember his emphasis on direct connection, prayer, meditation, surrender and faith. “Blessings always” became one of the expressions closely associated with him.
Guruji took mahasamadhi on 31 May 2007. He named no successor. Bade Mandir at Bhatti Mines in South Delhi remains closely associated with his Sangat.

Satsang Guidelines
Home Satsang Format
Keep chai/snack prasad simple and minimize interruptions. Shabad Gurbani, Mantra Jaap and Aarti form the devotional flow; satsang sharing should focus on personal experiences and allow space for everyone.
Discipline in the Satsang Hall
Keep phones and photography outside the hall, maintain quiet, sit in rows after bowing, and minimize movement during Satsang. Sangat arriving late should sit toward the back so meditation and sewa are not disturbed.
For Hosts
Choose a date and time convenient for the family, keep prasad simple, prepare the Darbaar and home carefully, coordinate sewa beforehand, and keep the Satsang environment peaceful and welcoming.
For Sangat
Try to arrive before the Satsang begins, avoid social conversation inside the hall, keep children close and quiet, respect assigned sewa, and help preserve cleanliness and a calm devotional atmosphere.
